WordPress RSS Part 1 Finding Your Feed

Hello and welcome to RSS Feeds Part 1, in this specific video I’m going to show you how to find your RSS Feed location in you WordPress site.

Learn WordPress RSS Part 1 Finding Your FeedNow you’re going to see a list of URL’s here, and let me explain what they mean. If you’ve installed any other version before Version 3.5, then you’ll need to basically follow these guidelines. And I’m going to go back to this in just a minute; however, if you have WordPress 3.5 or greater, you’ll notice that if you go to yourdomain.com/feed you will see the Feed automatically here. So this is the Feed that we need, however, going back over here, if you’re using a WordPress version before that, then pay close attention.

Now if you’ve installed permalinks, then you want to try these Feeds, like yourdomain.com/?Feed=RSS or =RSS2 or =RDF or =ADAM.

If you have not installed permalinks just yet, then you might want to take a look at these links. Feel free to pause this at any time so that you can test these out, and it really depends on your WordPress site. Some sites will reveal this, some sites will not. But what I found for the most part is that it will either be “yourdomain.com/Feed” “/RSS” or these top two here. I rarely ever see these bottom here, but it’s most likely these top here, and these top here.

But if it’s after Version 3.5 then it’s just simply “/Feed” – so try it out and find your RSS Feed, because in the next video I am going to show you how to syndicate your RSS Feed.
